Design that makes a difference
Turquoise, teal, blue-green, whatever you want to call it – I love it. This sprightly family of hues always makes me smile. I never used to consider myself a blue person. In fact, blue was among my least liked color families. To be completely honest, sometimes I still struggle with blues. But turquoise, turquoise is in a league all on it’s own.
Color is, in my opinion, one of the greatest contributors to our environmental health. Look around you – the Earth is full of COLOR! Yes, even in Minnesota in the winter there is plenty of color. Colors shift, change, and evolve throughout regions, seasons & time. Colors have a deep impact on us and communicate more than we know. Colors can communicate safety or danger, comfort or anxiety, hunger or contentment. They can promote health and well being or encourage things like irritation and arguments! Selecting the right colors for your environment is vitally important to creating spaces that suit your needs and promote health and well-being.
So back to Turquoise…well, just for fun I’ve rounded up some of my favorite pieces. Hope they make you smile too!!
