Design that makes a difference
The growing trend of faux taxidermy is one that truly indulges my inner sarcasm and proves the point that a space, no matter how ‘formal’ it is, should never be taken too seriously. While true taxidermy can take on a rustic and sometimes morbid feel (depending on the quantity displayed and ones view of hunting). The faux version is not only availalbe in a variety of critters and colors, but can be downright fancy or just plain funny. Here are a few of my recent favorite head studies.
So wherever you’re ‘headed’ with your space – don’t forget that adding three dimensional objects in addition to your framed artwork and photographs can add fantastic dimension and texture! And don’t worry – no animals were harmed in the making of this blog!
